Goosechase Conference Scavenger Hunt

Get ready to embark on an interactive adventure with the Goosechase app! Join the fun as you complete challenges, snap photos, and explore the St. George area—and the conference itself—in a lively scavenger hunt. This is a great way to engage, compete, and discover hidden gems along the way. Missions will begin unlocking on Monday, May 12 and will end Thursday morning. The game winner will be announced at lunch on Thursday. Join and let the chase begin!

How to join Goosechase:

  1. Download the Goosechase app on your mobile device

  2. To find our game, enter join code: 9IRCNJ or search for ULA 2025 Conference

  3. Password: ula2025stories

  4. Once the game begins, you'll find a mission to customize your schedule on Sched. The code word to complete this mission is: storytime



Self Guided Hikes: Explore the Beauty of St. George

Take a break from the conference and immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of St. George, Utah, with a self-guided hike. Whether you’re craving a peaceful solo trek or a chance to chat with fellow attendees on the trail, these scenic routes offer the perfect way to recharge. Explore red rock vistas, desert trails, and breathtaking views at your own pace. Trail maps and recommended routes are available here—just bring your sense of adventure and enjoy the natural beauty of southern Utah!

Join us for dinner at the St. George Rib & Chop House! Spend time with colleagues from around the state before the main conference kicks off. Our reservation room has a maximum capacity of 30 people - any additional attendees will be accommodated in the dining room. Vegetarian and seafood options available. (Food is not provided by ULA.)

Unleash your creativity and unwind after a full day at the ULA Annual Conference! This self-guided craft session is the perfect chance to relax and recharge while mingling with fellow attendees. Whether you're a crafting pro or just in it for the vibes, all materials will be provided. This is a passive activity where you can drop in and participate any time from 5-10pm.

PBS Movie Screening: Free For All: The Public Library

Join PBS Utah & DOCUTAH at the Utah Library Association Conference for an exclusive reception and film screening about the public library — a simple idea that shaped a nation. Learn about the quiet revolutionaries who made it happen and celebrate this civic institution where everything is free and the doors are open to all! This event is free and open to the public.

Free For All: The Public Library is a new documentary from Independent Lens that tells the story of how public libraries shaped America and how libraries and librarians continue to provide a sanctuary for Americans everywhere.
