About me
Hello! I'm a director of a small-town library in Cache Valley, and I work with a staff of ten amazing people! Four of us are at ULA this year! In a previous life, I worked for the Utah State Library as a bookmobile librarian for 16 years. I loved it very much but I love being a director even more! Every day is different and filled with so much creativity and problem solving.
When I'm not at work, I love hanging out with my wife and 3 teens, playing trivia every week with a dominant team of library colleagues, tinkering with technology, riding my bike, and reading when I can find the time. I love science fiction, nature writing, memoirs, and graphic novels, as well as hip hop, punk rock, electronic music, and thrash metal. If art is offbeat and thought-provoking, I probably enjoy it. I contradict myself, I am large, I contain multitudes, etc.
